We want therapy to be financially accessible for everyone. Reduced rates are available case-by-case based on need and availability.
We submit directly to most major insurers, so you don't pay out of pocket upfront.
Our office is in Ottawa. All client records are stored in Canada and handled under PIPEDA and PHIPA.
A few reasons people from this side of the city end up here.
FOR WHEN SOMETHING FEELS OFF
A lot of what a search turns up sits well west of here, and a drive approaching an hour each way is enough to make a weekly appointment quietly collapse. Virtual sessions remove that problem entirely.
Some things only come out properly in the language you first felt them in. We have bilingual therapists, and you can ask for one when you reach out, subject to availability.
Virtual suits most weeks. When a session is better in person, our Centrepointe office is there — it's a real trip from Orleans, so for most people out this way it makes more sense as the exception than the routine.
For many people in Orleans, secure video is the practical answer. A drive to our office runs about thirty-five to fifty minutes each way outside of rush hour, and considerably longer during it. Virtual sessions make a consistent weekly time realistic instead of aspirational, and they're available anywhere in Ontario.
Our Centrepointe office is open to you when being in the room matters — a first session, or a stretch of work where you'd rather not be at home. Some clients here make that trip occasionally and do the rest by video.
We have bilingual therapists on the team who work in English and French, and you can ask for that at the consult. We support people in the east end with anxiety, low mood, trauma, grief, family strain, and relationship difficulties. If we think someone outside our practice is a better fit for what you're bringing, we'd rather say so.
Email, phone, or fill out our booking form. There's no script and no pressure. You can share as much or as little as you want.
A real person, not a bot, will reply as soon as we can with a few options for a free 15-minute consultation.
We listen. You ask questions. No paperwork, no obligation. If we're not the right match, we'll point you toward someone who might be.
Direct billing where possible. Evening and weekend availability. Virtual or in-person in Ottawa.
Sessions are 50 minutes in length. Rates vary by therapist and are confirmed during your free consultation. We accept e-transfer and credit cards, and direct-bill most insurers.
Sliding-scale spots are available based on need. Ask during your free consultation.
Same 50-minute format, structured for two participants and shared concerns.
Registered Psychotherapist and Registered Social Worker services are covered by most extended health plans in Canada. We recommend confirming your specific coverage before your first paid session. Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Green Shield, and most major insurers include coverage.
We direct-bill where your insurer allows it. Otherwise, you pay at the time of session and submit the receipt for reimbursement.
Every session generates a receipt listing the provider's license number, suitable for insurance reimbursement.
In-person sessions are held at our Ottawa office. Virtual sessions use a secure, PIPEDA-compliant video platform. You can switch between the two.
We ask for 24 hours notice on cancellations. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged the full session fee.
After the free 15-minute consultation, your first paid session is intake-focused. Bring questions, anything you have already tried, and any goals you have in mind.
QUESTIONS
Most of our Orleans clients work with us by secure video, available anywhere in Ontario. In-person sessions are at our Centrepointe office in the west end, which is a real trip from Orleans, so most people here treat it as the exception rather than the routine.
Yes. We have bilingual therapists on the team who work in English and French. You can ask for a French-speaking therapist when you reach out, and we will match you accordingly where availability allows.
It is roughly 27 kilometres across the city, about forty-five to fifty minutes outside of rush hour and considerably longer during it. That distance is why the Orleans service is built around virtual sessions.
Yes. Secure video sessions are available anywhere in Ontario, which removes a cross-city drive and makes a consistent weekly time realistic rather than aspirational. Some clients come to the office occasionally and do the rest by video.
Sessions start at $175, depending on the therapist you see. Sliding-scale spots are available with select therapists, and we direct bill where your insurer allows. Fees are confirmed at your free 15-minute consult.
Psychotherapy with a Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Social Worker is not covered by OHIP. Many extended health and workplace benefit plans cover it, though plans differ on which credentials they reimburse. Check whether yours covers RP, RSW, or both.
No. You can book directly with a Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Social Worker without a doctor's referral. Some insurance plans ask for one before reimbursing, so it is worth checking your policy.
Sessions are held over a secure video platform, and the same confidentiality obligations apply as they would in the room. Your therapist explains the limits of confidentiality at the start, including the specific situations where Ontario law requires disclosure.
Our hours run Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm, with individual therapists setting their own availability within that. You can ask about evening slots at the consult.
We usually respond the same day during business hours, and the free 15-minute consult can often be arranged within a few days. Timing for a first full session depends on which therapist you are matched with.
Therapy is a longer-term relationship. If you're in acute distress, please reach the services below first. They are free, confidential, and available right now.
