People often come to Linda when they have reached a point where it is hard to keep saying everything is fine. From the outside they may be the dependable one, with the steady job and the family who counts on them. Privately, they are exhausted.
Some are carrying old wounds they have never talked about. Others are working through grief, trauma, or a slow build-up of stress that finally became too much. Many say something like, "I don't know what's wrong with me," or "I should be able to handle this."
Linda's approach is calm and practical. Rather than clinical language, she looks at what is happening in your life right now, what is weighing on you, and what might help you feel more grounded. Together you can slow things down, make sense of your thoughts and emotions, and build tools you can use in real moments of stress.
She draws on cognitive behavioural therapy, cognitive processing therapy, trauma-focused CBT, the Gottman Method, mindfulness-based approaches, motivational interviewing, and strengths-based and culturally sensitive practice, adapting to what fits your situation.
Linda has practised since 1992 and holds a doctorate in social work. She brings a grief- and recovery-informed perspective to her work, supporting people through the losses and life transitions that shape them. Being multilingual, she listens for cultural nuance and for what often stays unspoken.
Outside of work, Linda is co-founder and Vice President of the YEEPI Foundation, and enjoys travelling with her family, reading, and gardening.
Your healing journey begins when you understand your patterns and reclaim the power to change your story.
