Daniela works with survivors of childhood or attachment trauma. Together, you will build a safe, healthy relationship where you can explore how the past is affecting your mind and body, and learn who you are and what you want today.
Daniela uses a psychodynamic approach to help you understand how your past influences your present, compassion-focused therapy to build a better relationship with yourself, and somatic therapy informed by polyvagal theory to help you understand and work with the messages that your body sends you.
This way of working is well suited to clients looking for lasting change and a deep understanding of themselves, particularly those whose attachment and relationship patterns show up as shame, grief, or panic, and who do not tend to benefit from structured approaches like CBT or DBT.
Daniela never truly gets tired of listening to other people's stories, and sees no better way to spend a career than supporting others with their personal growth. Outside of work, you might find Daniela reading or drawing in the park, playing video games, or trying to befriend the local critters, with varying success.
Feelings are a fact; it is a fact that you are feeling.
