You look like you're managing. You show up, get things done, and take care of the people who depend on you. But underneath, you might be overthinking, running on empty, snapping at the people you care about, or wondering why you don't feel better when life “should” be fine.
I work with adults and older teens who are carrying a lot on the inside — anxiety, burnout, emotional reactivity, relationship strain, or the sense of being stuck in patterns you can't quite name. Many of the people I see are high-functioning and used to being the strong one, and they've usually already tried to push through on their own before reaching out.
My approach is warm, direct, and practical. I don't think therapy has to be passive or overly clinical. Together we slow things down, make sense of what's happening in your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and daily patterns, and build concrete tools you can actually use between sessions. I'll help you notice patterns, manage stress and intense feelings, communicate more clearly, and take meaningful steps toward the kind of person, partner, or parent you want to be.
I draw on CBT, DBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, and family systems approaches — not rigidly, but based on what each person needs. My background spans work with children, teens, adults, and families across schools and high-pressure professional settings, and I'm especially comfortable with clients who don't always have the words for what they feel, including men, parents, and professionals.
If you've been holding it together for a long time and you're ready for honest conversation and real tools, I'd be glad to help.
Honest conversations lead to clear insight, practical skills, and real change.
